That’s what my momma says — just like her grandmother said before her — to mean you’ve come to a place where you’ve got to decide which way you gon’ go.
This Crossroads Hoodoo Doll carries that same ancestral truth. Wrapped in fabric covered with crosses, she holds the power of decision, direction, and divine intervention. In Black folklore and Hoodoo tradition, the crossroads is where the physical and spiritual worlds meet — the place where prayers are heard, gifts are received, and power changes hands.
From the famous tale of Robert Johnson, said to have gone to the crossroads empty-handed and left with music in his bones, to everyday folks who laid petitions at midnight seeking miracles — the crossroads has always been a place of becoming.
If you can’t make it to a crossroads, this doll brings the crossroads to you. She is your portable altar of choice and change. When you need clarity, when you need release, or when you need to open your roads again — lay your petitions before her and speak your direction into being.

How to Work With & Feed Your Doll
Keep your Crossroads Doll on your altar, floor, or doorway — anywhere energy moves and choices are made. When you’re unsure of your next step, light two candles (one white, one black) beside her and speak your prayer out loud.
If you’re working to uncross something, write your petition and place it under her feet until the way clears.
Feed her regularly to keep her spirit active and responsive:
Florida Water or alcohol spirits to cleanse and activate her energy
Uncrossing or Road Opener oil to anoint her head and hands
Candle smoke or incense to lift your prayers through her
