Blood Magick is an advanced, lecture-style class examining the historical, spiritual, and ethical use of blood across multiple traditions. This class explores blood as life force, covenant, offering, and spiritual contract, grounding the topic in ancestral practice rather than modern sensationalism.
Participants will study how blood has been understood and applied—both symbolically and physically—within Christianity, Hoodoo, African Traditional Practices, and general witchcraft. Topics include animal blood, menstrual blood, finger-prick blood, and the reasons blood work has always been approached with caution and restraint.
We will also cover blood-style inks and liquid substitutes, including how practitioners have used red inks and herbs and roots that produce blood-like substances as stand-ins when physical blood was unnecessary, unsafe, or inappropriate. Emphasis is placed on discernment—knowing when substitution is spiritually sufficient and when it is not.
Strong focus is given to ethics, consent, lineage responsibility, safety, and long-term spiritual consequences. This is not a ritual class and includes no demonstrations. The purpose is education, clarity, and ancestral understanding—not instruction to perform blood work.
Recommended for open minded and spiritually mature practitioners only.
