🦴 Throwing Bones: A 4-Week Virtual Personal Divination Development Workshop

Step into an ancient practice rooted in African tradition, biblical history, and ancestral wisdom. Over 4 immersive Sundays, we’ll go deep into the sacred art of throwing bones — not just learning the how, but understanding the why.
In this workshop, you’ll:
✨ Learn the history, spiritual foundations, and cultural survival of bone divination.
✨ Receive detailed lesson plans loaded with everything you need to confidently work your set.
✨ Build your own jack bag and fill it with personally chosen pieces.
✨ Create your own throwing map to guide and interpret your readings.
✨ Practice the art of throwing bones and hone your personal divination style through live exercises.
✨ Strengthen your connection to your spiritual court and ancestors through guided rituals and offerings.
This is an intimate, hands-on workshop where we’ll work, pray, and divine together until spirit says we’re done.

We’ll begin by cleansing ourselves with spiritual cologne, herb bundles, and smoke, accompanied by bells to clear our energy and prepare us for sacred work.
🕯️ Altar Building Ceremony
Each participant will contribute offerings to build a collaborative Ancestor & Spirit Guide altar, grounding our work in lineage and spiritual guidance.
💰 Collective Money Bowl
Together we’ll create a shared prosperity bowl, dressing it with coins, beans, herbs, charms, and a Polaroid photo of each participant to tie our essences together. The bowl becomes a keepsake of our collective bond and abundance.
📝 Petition Writing Workshop
Learn the art of writing clear, powerful petitions that call in exactly what you seek. Each participant will craft personal petitions to place inside their lamps.
🌸 Blessing Oils Workshop
Explore a selection of conjure oils — money, love, protection, success. Participants will anoint their petitions before placing them into their lamps.
🔥 Vision Lamp Crafting
Create your personalized Vision Lamp, loading it with scriptures, coins, charms, herbs, oils, and blessings to anchor your intentions for 2026.
📜 Scripture/Incantation Recitation
Together, we’ll recite a powerful scripture or psalm, layering the room with collective prayer and spiritual authority.

Raise the energy with drumming, bells, and guided chant — amplifying the power of our work.
🔥 Collective Lighting Ceremony
Everyone lights their lamps together, reciting a shared affirmation to ignite visions in unison. A powerful moment of collective ignition.

Write a letter to your future self, seal it, and take it home to open at the end of the year.
🌟 Blessing Exchange
Bring a small item (stone, charm, herb packet) to swap with another participant as a blessing to carry forward into 2026.
🍽️ The Feast of Fortune
We’ll gather in community to share a soul food feast, a traditional new year menu conjuring through food — greens for prosperity, black-eyed peas for change, cornbread for sustenance, and all the fixings. These foods carry deep ancestral meaning.

Hey Dolls 👋🏾✨💕, I’m Iyami Aje also known as The Hoodoo Doll Maker‼️ I’ve been on this journey since birth but we’ll say I made a turn down spiritual street in 2019 and it’s been on my spirit to share what I was learning as I was learning from the beginning. I’m still on my journey and I have many lessons I want to share with you.
