The graveyard is more than a place where the dead are buried. It is a spiritual community, and if you’re going to work there, you need to understand how to conduct yourself there.
In Working the Graveyard, we’re going beyond simply collecting graveyard dirt.
This class is about developing an understanding of the graveyard as a spiritual place, the spirits who reside there, and the etiquette, discernment and responsibility that should accompany graveyard work.
We’ll talk about how I personally approach graveyard work through my Hoodoo practice and why I don’t believe in walking into a cemetery, grabbing some dirt and leaving simply because a spell told you to.

We’ll also discuss why whose grave you visit matters. Dirt from the grave of your grandmother is not spiritually identical to dirt from the grave of a soldier, doctor, child, preacher or stranger. The person, the place, the relationship and the purpose of the work all matter.
The goal of this workshop is not to give you a list of graveyard tricks.
I want you to leave understanding how to move through the graveyard with intention, respect and discernment, so when you do graveyard work, you understand who you’re approaching, why you’re approaching them and what you’re asking them to do.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
This is primarily a teaching and discussion workshop, so there is no extensive supply list.
