Ancestor Elevation Workshop
💀 Ancestor Veneration & Altar Building Class
Date: November 2, 2025 — Day of the Dead
Location: Virtual on Zoom
Time: 4:00 P.M. EST
Energy Exchange: $44.44
🕯️ “We don’t come from nothing and return to nothingness. Spirit doesn’t die until you stop saying its name.”
Join me on Day Of The Dead for a deep and healing experience in Ancestor Elevation — where we reclaim our roots, remember our people, and reawaken the power that walks with us.
This class is more than a workshop — it’s a homecoming. Together we’ll unlearn colonial fear, reclaim the truth of African spirituality, and reconnect with the sacred art of ancestor veneration.
🌿 What You’ll Learn:
•Decolonizing Ancestor Work — dismantling the myth that speaking to our dead is “demonic” and understanding that remembering them is the magic that keeps us alive.
•What Is Ancestor Veneration? — exploring the difference between worship and reverence, and how remembrance becomes ritual.
•Altars in Everyday Life — recognizing the altars that already exist in our communities and homes.
•How to Build an Altar — step-by-step guidance for creating your own sacred space anywhere: from a table to a box, a closet, or a crystal in your bra.
•Offerings & Elemental Balance — how to feed your spirits, work with earth, air, fire, water, and ether, and maintain energetic harmony.
•Spiritual Maintenance — learning how to refresh water, dispose of offerings, and discern what your spirits truly need.
•Elevation Work — how to “lift your ancestors up” in prayer and create a 9-day altar for transition and peace.
✨ You’ll leave this class with the knowledge to build your first (or next) altar, deepen your ancestral connection, and carry your lineage with power, pride, and purpose.
💌 You’ll Receive:
•A detailed lesson on ancestor veneration
•Guided altar-building instructions
•Ritual notes + ancestor elevation prayer
•A safe space for remembrance, questions, and spiritual exploration
🕯️ This is an act of remembrance. A return to the bones. A ritual of liberation.
Come as you are, bring your open heart, and let’s elevate the ones who walked before us.
