Helping Hands are part of the working event team for The Hoodoo Doll Cleanse: Charleston Experience.

Helping Hands receive access to the weekend at a reduced investment in exchange for participating in the physical, logistical, creative, hospitality, and spiritual labor required to produce the experience.
Helping Hands will serve from Friday, August 6 through Monday, August 9, 2027.
Possible responsibilities include:
Spiritual-space and altar support
Cleansing-station support
Doll and ritual-material organization
Participant care
Hospitality
Check-in
Event logistics
Food-service support
Setup and reset
Content documentation
Final breakdown and cleanup
One Helping Hand position will specifically support videography and content documentation throughout the weekend.
Friday programming
Friday curated dinner
Saturday Hoodoo Doll Cleanse experience
Meals during scheduled programming and working hours
Sunday Ring Shout
Sunday Lowcountry food experience
Sunday water closing
Team lodging
Materials necessary for assigned responsibilities
Helping Hands must remain available through Monday, August 9 for final cleanup, packing, inventory, ritual-space breakdown, and closure.
Because the production team is built around these five positions, Helping Hand payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
